UPDATE ON THE ELECTIONS
We have been notified by the union that we will require a Welfare Officer in the committee next year! We will be electing this position at the AGM and not online. For a better idea of the role contact our current Welfare Representative, Jo Winter.
According to Union rules and regs, the Welfare Officer is required to attend training days and will be the only one with access to the ‘Welfare Funding Pot’ which must be used for initiatives and demographic-specific events.
*Welfare Officer nominees will not need to give a speech at the Hustings*
There will be a AGM-specific email sent out later this week, but some quick info:
It will take place Friday 22nd March, 18:00 in Medical Sciences 131 A V Hill LT. This will be your chance to vote on constitution changes and for the Welfare Officer role.
